Personalised Fused Glass Day

On a personalised fusing day you need no previous experience. You will learn how to cut glass and from that point you will be able to design and make your own glass panel, dish, or coasters. You will also be able to use paints, inclusions such as copper, glass granules and rods in your piece.

It’s a good idea when you come to this workshop to bring some ideas, colours and pictures you like as a starting point.

Price includes all materials and lunch.

Assertive Mindfulness Training

Mindful Assertiveness Training for Women Leaders and Managers.

Little Big Butterfly’s Introduction to Assertiveness Training course for women leaders and managers, examines and enables reflection of difficult work
situations, why we struggle to be assertive and how to negotiate effectively.
Over a half day training, participants will gain knowledge in recognising their own typical behaviour patterns, learn a new skill-set in dealing with difficult situations and an improved sense of well-being. Combining this training within mindfulness provides a compassionate and supportive environment,
touching on new and emerging therapeutic benefits that mindfulness practice can bring.

About the Trainer:
Clara Shield has been delivering Assertiveness Training for professionals and women since 2008. Introducing a new approach to this training for 2015 is the inclusion of Mindfulness. A new and emerging practice which has been
proven to help to restore good mental wellbeing and promote compassion for ourselves and in our communication with others. Clara is a certified practitioner in Mindfulness awarded from the Mindfulness Association.

Glass Leading Days

By coming to a leaded one or two day workshop you will be learning the traditional craft of stained glass. This involves how to cut glass, lead up the glass, solder, cement and polish. On the one day course you can makean A4 size leaded glass panel. On a two day course you can make a bigger panel of 35cm squared.

Price for a one day workshop is £110 including materials.
Price for a two day course is £220.

How to Be Good At Customer Service

The Inspire Network invites women to take part in its Northumberland meeting. Guest speaker, Debs Brown of Bank House Stoves will be talking about Effective Customer Service.

Debs will be providing us with an insight into how adopting a strong Customer Service strategy within her business has enabled them to stand out from competitors and increase sales over the last year.

Please remember to bring along business cards and any company literature/flyers, product samples etc. to demonstrate and distribute at the meeting.

This meeting is informal and child friendly – after Debs talk there’ll be a chance for relaxed networking and opportunities to share advice & information with other local business women.
