Who is this event for?

  • Women voluntary sector organisations

  • Voluntary and community sector organisations
  • Statutory sector services
  • Commissioners of VAWG services
  • Partner organisations from related areas of delivery especially those that address women’s health needs, homelessness and housing.

The objective of this event is to provide a platform to talk, learn and discuss about three of the issues that VAWG organisations in London needs to be aware of in this day and age. The aims are to:

  • Increase participants understanding of intersectionality and its impact on the design and delivery of services

  • Offer participants the opportunity to contribute to the RESPECT Accreditation Standards Review.

The day will be divided in three main areas:

  • Presentation and discussion on Intersectionality led by Imkaan
  • Seminar on Brexit and its impact on legislation related to VAWG led by Rights of Women
