On May 2nd the May Day Rally will take place in Belfast City Centre.
The Rally will leave from Writers Square at 11.45 and walk around to the City Hall for speeches.
This year, because of the disproportionate burden of the cuts that women are carrying we’re asking ALL WOMEN to wear something YELLOW.
Whether it’s a T-Shirt, coat, hat, hair band, armband – ANYTHING! We want to raise the visibility of women in the march to highlight the fact that our contribution and work in our communities, families and workplaces is often undervalued by society and certainly under valued by our Government!
Yelllow is a peaceful colour, a happy colour and of course a springtime colour…we want this show of women to be positive and we ask that as many women and girls as possible get involved.
ALL WOMEN and GIRLS please support each other by wearing yellow – take photos of yourselves and share them with the #cutitout
