It is fitting that the Fair comes in Women’s History Month as the WI – founded in 1915 – is the largest voluntary women’s membership organisation in the UK. The Fair is the perfect setting for drawing together the many areas of women’s dynamic lives: their work, their skills and their experiences.
With more than 300 exhibitors, the Fair is packed with entrepreneurial women and crafty women and organisations like ActionAid that work to empower women.
At the opening of the Fair – as a lifelong campaigner for women’s equality – is one very dynamic woman indeed: Harriet Harman.
Matching the broad interests of WI members and other visitors; the Fair has four distinct areas: a Designer Makers Village; a Live Kitchen; a Craft Theatre; and a Travel and Lifestyle Theatre. With demonstrations, hands-on activities, an extensive shopping experience and authors’ book signings in the Book Club feature with WHSmith – it will be four brilliant days to experience.
All tickets can be purchased online or via the ticket hotline on 0844 581 4902
