I provide freelance, end-to-end recruitment support to businesses, on a flat-fee basis.  I focus exclusively on advertising vacancies using an organisation’s own branding and work seamlessly as their freelance in-house resourcing manager, administering the whole process ensuring their recruitment is professional, timely and effective.

So often, the contingency model fails to provide either a good service or value for money, so I am disrupting that model and doing things differently!

Fran Elson’s business, Colours of Coquetdale, captures a unique picture of the flora of the Coquet valley.  Fran lives overlooking the Simonside Hills. Her creations are made from flowers and leaves collected in the valley which are then pressed and dried before being mounted onto craft paper.  These pictures capture the colours of Coquetdale through the seasons.  Each one is unique as each of the flowers and leaves that Fran uses and the day on which they were collected. The wind, the rain and the sun combine with the flora to create a single moment in time that is captured in a variety of products, pictures, cushions and mugs.

Eve Studd works with home grown natural dyes on wool fleece and yarn, making wall hangings and ‘Creators Packs’ of plant dyed wool for use in a variety of crafts. Inspired by the colours and landscape of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders she produces natural prints with leaves and flowers on wool, silk and cotton fabric producing wall hangings, bags, cushion covers and scarves.

Sewing, knitting and crafting has always been a passion of mine.

I have always made things for my children so after 24 years of child rearing and my children grown up now I want to make things for others.

Fiona is taking a lead on running stalls featuring women’s products, as part of the development of the HERitage project. The gifts that are available on the stall include Fiona’s own beautiful small and large journals, using recycling waste packaging, which are covered in recycled scarves or sari and batik materials.
