During the 16 Days of Activism to End Violence Against Women & Girls, Rape Crisis was delighted to welcome Maddy Hill as its first official charity ambassador.
Maddy and friends Lauren and Megan will all be running the Vitality British 10k in London on Sunday 10th July 2016 to raise money for us. You can show your support by sponsoring them here.
“I’m really honoured to be the first official Ambassador for Rape Crisis England & Wales.
It’s shocking how little we hear or talk about sexual abuse and rape and it’s unjust how little support this truly amazing charity gets.
If I can get young people talking about consent and healthy sex, if I can encourage one survivor to tell someone and find support, if I can help Rape Crisis get the essential funding it needs and deserves, I’ll be very happy.”
