A unique exhibition of paintings expressing the lives of cleaners, carers, cooks and child minders who carry out these tasks in private homes to Universities. Based on the experiences of workers in the UK, this is the first time these paintings are being exhibited in a public space and offer an opportunity to see and reflect on the lives of some of the most marginalised, exploited and often invisible workers in the UK. At the same time these workers are also at the forefront of some of the most exciting movements demanding their rights as workers. These bright and vibrant paintings in oil and water colours are of full of intense emotion and energy.
