What: Women and the economy in a post election Scotland
Following the Scottish elections, how can we ensure the new government keep equality at the heart of its economic policy? What can women and women’s organisations do to work together?
The Scottish Women’s Budget Group and the UK Women’s Budget Group are facilitating a small workshop for local women to engage in discussion on the realities of economic decisions – in budgets, in welfare and public service reform, spending cuts, and taxation. Polly from UKWBG will be facilitating this workshop as part of a series of sessions including South West England, East Anglia and now Scotland.
No knowledge of economics required! Come along and learn, give your view and ensure women remain central to government policy.
