On Sunday you are invited to find out about using native plants as spring tonics, and take part in a willow workshop to male garden structures, run by Ruth Thompson of Sylvan Skills.

Women’s Weeds Day
At this working day we will be planting a wold meadow area, clearing a garden patch ready for our physic garden and learning more about local native plants.
We will also be cutting back the willow that we have at the Women’s Workshop site ready to use at future sessions.

Women’s Weeds Project Launch
An introductory session about our exciting new Women’s Weeds project. Funded by the Kew Gardens Grow Wild Fund, we are setting out to create a women’s physic garden on our Women’s Workshop site, and want to invite any local women who would like to explore how we can use native plants to promote both good health and good environment, and will also include monthly pop-up cafes, and creative writing sessions to help celebrate women, herblore and horticulture, and produce a project publication.
